    I was just wondering if anyone has the HP G5 Chromebook with Gorilla Glass.

    We're seeing a few "crushed", ie the screens don't break but the internal video display is smashed. We're looking for a correct part to repair ourselves. Working with HP is a challenge to say the least.

    Our other models are under insurance but there is not enough breakage with these to warrant the cost of a policy. I hate to see them wasted.

    Hi Ann,

    Can you send the part number of that Chromebook?  Our career and tech center does our Chromebook repairs and wehave all HP currently.  I don't believe we have that particular type but I think we could help find what you are looking for.

    We were able to locate a vendor that's a bit cheaper than HP called Screen Surgeons out of Tucson Arizona. So far so good.  They have quite a few brands
