Personal Devices & VPN's

    Hi Everyone,

I was wondering how schools were handling the use of personal devices on their networks. Do you use any particular MDM product? If so, how do you handle enrollment of these devices, do you require parental permission for students, how much control do you exert?  Do you find that students are using VPN’s to bypass your filtering settings, especially on their cell phones? If so, how do you deal with that? Do you allow users to connect to your internal network resources with their personal devices, or are they limited to Internet only? Do your Responsible Use policies address these concerns?

Any help would be much appreciated – thanks!
