Blocking Sites for Students

Since rolling out our 1:1 program this year we have received many requests from teachers and parents to block specific games, messaging sites, etc. We do have all of the mandatory filters in place. The requests tend to be for sites that are distracting and/or annoying. We've been handling these on a case-by-case basis so far but as the number of requests mounts and more and more new sites pop up, I wonder how other districts handle this.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks!

    Kim
