Internet Experience with 1:1

This whole 1:1 thing is driving me crazy. Would any like to share how their internet performance was impacted by 1:1 traffic? I know this is a gray area, but I'm having second thoughts about what my increased bandwidth should be.

We are a high school and will have over 500 more devices connecting to the internet come fall of 2016. We currently have 50Mbs and occasionally burst into the high 30's. But adding 1:1 is a whole different animal. We have BYOD right now of about 100 devices, but that is hit or miss when it comes to usage.

Our infrastructure has been fork lifted so that's not a concern.

Any advice would be appreciated. And "get out right now" is not an option!

    Thx.
