iBoss Google SSO and Chromebook Mobile filtering

    Hi everyone,

Are there any districts that have successfully implemented the iBoss Google SSO and Chromebook Mobile filtering for their students? We are having a very difficult time with iBoss getting it work properly and reliably and I would like to talk to a district that DOES have it working and possibly compare our config to yours to see if I can spot some obvious errors. The issue has been escalated with iBoss, but it's taking too long to get it resolved.

Thanks in advance for anyone that has some time to spare to share their experience and config.

    Hey Paul,

We are about to start jumping into it.  After speaking with OSHEAN and iBoss we are going to need a seperate appliance.  I know this doesn't help now but I want to follow along also.  Are you guys using the shared filter or did you buy your own?

    Chris,

We purchased our own appliance specifically for the mobile filtering. Last year we were using a ContentKeeper appliance through Cox. I have another call with the iBoss engineers this afternoon, so I'll post how it goes. They have suggested a small change in our PAC script that I will test this morning.

We set it up last year with the help of an ioss engineer and Kim from Oshean. It took a while but we got it working. I could not walk you through it but you can certainly look at our configuration.
