Chromebooks and PARCC

    Continuing topic on new forum....

Has anyone successfully used student Chromebooks for PARCC testing?  I could set aside a few CB's set up in Kiosk mode for testing, but I would rather be able to use some of the 300+ we handed out this year.

    thanks - Marc

    Marc,

This is what we did in Burrillville with our 150 Chromebooks:

As you can see, the policy has "1 Kiosk App availabe to launch" which is "TestNAV".  Students power on the Chromebook and before logging in, they can launch "TestNAV" from the bottom-left corner.

Now, are your Chromebooks managed?  If so, this should help.  If not, they should be able to get the app themselves.  Once launched, the TestNAV app is supposed to lock it anyway.

    Hope this helps.
