The Microsoft in the Classroom session provides:

  • Review of 21st century teaching and learning
  • Hands-on demonstration of Windows 8.1 features, function and value for education
  • Review engaging education Apps from the Microsoft Store
  • Demonstration of Microsoft Office 365
  • OneDrive cloud storage and sharing for students and teachers
  • Review the Microsoft Web Apps – Excel, PowerPoint, Word, OneNote and Excel Survey
  • Hands-on demonstration of an engaging OneNote notebook lesson plan where the teacher shares the notebook with students and demonstrates the unique capabilities of OneNote in the classroom

* K-12 education schools considering technology purchases during the current 2014-2015 school year

* K-12 school leaders as host for the session
