RI School Superintendents Association (RISSA) would like to invite the members of RISTE to be part of a very special event on Thursday, November 17. 
The full day special professional development session on that date is focused on Transformational Leadership: Confronting Change in Technology and Curriculum Trends. 
The day features Dr. Heidi Hayes Jacobs as keynoter and a number of innovative practitioners in the area of virtual learning from around the country.  I hope that you will encourage all RISTE members to participate in this day.
 
All registrations will be handled through the superintendent in an effort to simplify the process which is why there is no registration form attached.  The registration fee is $100 per person. Districts are being encouraged to send RISSA, RISTE and RIASBO members as well as one principal from the district.
 
RISTE members who plan to attend should print the attached agenda since hard copies will not be available.
 
The deadline for registration is Monday, November 7.
